Will Smith

Will Smith is an undergraduate student from NC State, seeking a dual degree in Polymer and Color Chemistry and Sustainable Materials and Technology. As a STEPS Scholar, he is working with the Gorman Research Group on the synthesis and characterization of polymers for phosphorus sorption. After completing his undergraduate degree, Will hopes to go to graduate school to work in an applied organic chemistry group. He is president of the Sustainable Materials and Technology Student Association and recipient of the Myron Kelly and David B. Morgan Scholarships. In his free time, Will enjoys mountain biking, camping, and playing guitar with his band.
