Bio

Dr. Sabila Pinky is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Yaroslava Yingling’s group at North Carolina State University. She received her B.Sc. in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh. She earned her M.Sc. in Materials Science from Missouri State University, where her research focused on computational simulations to investigate creep deformation in nickel-based superalloys. She completed her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at NC State under the supervision of Dr. Yingling. Her doctoral research focused on computational soft matter, including the self-assembly behavior of peptide polymer amphiphiles, alongside other diverse projects. In her current postdoctoral work, she is expanding her research knowledge by integrating machine learning approaches to enhance computational modeling and materials design. Her broader research interests lie at the intersection of computational chemistry, materials science, and data-driven materials discovery.
