Bio
Shwetha Delanthamajalu is Postdoctoral Research Scholar at North Carolina State University. Their work in the STEPS Center is focused on two topics: convergence science research, and the study of Soil and Water Management Districts (SWCDs). They are part of the Integration team at STEPS and study how Center participants do convergence research, and what the cost and benefits are of engaging in a center like STEPS Center. They also examine the significance of SWCDs in the landscape of agricultural and environmental governance through qualitative research in North Carolina. During their PhD career in Sociology at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, they worked on Adoption of Innovation research and made contributions to projects on convergence boundary objects and stakeholder attitudes, needs, and perceptions with Dr. Anna-Maria Marshall.
