Rishikesh Bajagain, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Soil, Water, and Nutrient Management Laboratory at the University of Florida – Everglades Research and Education Center. His research focuses on sustainable nutrient management, water quality improvement, soil health, and agricultural best management practices in agricultural ecosystems. His STEPS-related research interests include fate and transport of phosphorus from agricultural ecosystems, phosphorus sustainability, nutrient cycling, water quality monitoring, and the development of innovative management strategies to improve environmental outcomes while maintaining agricultural productivity. Dr. Bajagain earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Kunsan National University. His work integrates field, laboratory, and data-driven approaches to address nutrient management challenges, environmental remediation, and support sustainable agricultural systems.
