Bio
Dr. Sarah White is a Professor and Nursery Extension Specialist in the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at Clemson University. Dr. White joined the STEPS program as a part of Theme 2. Her research group focuses on plant- and substrate-based treatment technologies that assist in the removal of agrochemicals from irrigation return flow and stormwater. She earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology in 2008 from Clemson University. Dr. White was awarded the College of Agriculture, Forest and Life Science Faculty Award for Excellence in Research in 2021 and received the University Research, Scholarship and Artistic Achievement Award from Clemson University in 2018.
