Bio

Nathan Schunk is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at NC State under the supervision of Dr. Justin Baker. Nathan is a Global Change Fellow at NC State’s Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center (SE CASC). He received a BS and MS in Economics from East Carolina University where he worked on multiple natural hazards focused grants. His research interests include environmental economics, health economics, climate change, climate adaptation, environmental justice, and natural resource sustainability.
