Bio
Dr. Lifeng Zhang is currently an associate professor of nanoengineering in North Carolina A&T State University (NCA&T) and an adjunct professor in the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Fiber and Polymer Science from the University of California at Davis. Dr. Zhang’s research interests lie in engineered materials at nanometer scale and sustainable development. The advanced materials developed in his research have seen a wide range of applications such as water treatment, energy storage, lighter & stronger composite materials, and biomedical uses. Dr. Zhang has published over 110 peer-reviewed journal articles and 12 book chapters and received 5 U.S. patents. Dr. Zhang’s publications have been cited over 6,900 times by researchers across the world with h-index 47 according to google scholar and resulted in more than 33,000 reads according to ResearchGate as of today.
