Jinyue Jiang
Bio
Jinyue (Jerry) Jiang is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Arizona State University working with Prof. Paul Westerhoff. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering from Princeton University in 2025, working with Prof. Z. Jason Ren. Prior to that, he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2019 from Tsinghua University and subsequently a Master of Science degree in 2020 from Stanford. His research investigates safe alternative water sources for a sustainable future, including atmospheric water harvesting and wastewater reuse. He utilized geospatial information system, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, bioinformatics, techno-economic analysis and life-cycle assessment as tools to analyze and tackle emerging and persistent environmental problems. He was awarded the Maeder Fellowship in Energy and the Environment, ACS Environmental Chemistry Graduate Award, AEESP best poster award for his work.
