Bio
Imani Madison is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Sozzani group at North Carolina State University in the Plant & Microbial Biology Department. Her STEPS research focuses on screening biomaterials (polymers, nanomaterials, etc) for improvements in cellular phosphate uptake by 3D bioprinted plant cells. Imani earned a PhD in Plant Biology in 2022 from North Carolina State University and earned a B.A. in Biology in 2017 from Washington University in St. Louis.
