Raphael Ayivi is a Nanoscience Ph.D. student at the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN) at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. His doctoral research focuses on phosphorus sustainability in the area of chemosensor development to detect organophosphorus pesticides in environmental samples. Before coming to UNCG, he completed his Master’s degree in Food Technology at the Institut Superieur d’Agriculture (ISA-Lille), France, Master’s degree in Food Science at North Carolina A&T State University (NCAT), and his Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana.
