Bio

Tanzimul Ferdous is a doctoral student in Learning and Teaching in STEM, with a focus on Science Education. She earned her master’s in curriculum and instruction in Science Education from Kent State University. Tanzimul joined the doctoral program at NC State in 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Gail Jones. At NC State she is involved in various research including climate change education, knowledge of viruses and vaccines among k-12 students, research experience for teachers, and her dissertation work on teachers’ perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI).
