Dr. Sherine Obare Appointed UNCG’s Vice Chancellor for Research and Engagement
STEPS BP Co-Director Dr. Sherine Obare has been appointed UNCG’s new Vice Chancellor for Research and Engagement. Dr. Obare previously served as Dean of the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN) from January 2019 to the present. Her specialty is in nanoscience with a research focus on designing nanoscale materials for drug delivery, healthcare, alternative energy, and environmental remediation.
