Theme 1 Researcher Detlef Knappe Receives the Borchardt-Glysson Water Treatment Innovation Prize
Theme 1 Researcher Detlef Knappe will receive the Borchardt-Glysson Water Treatment Innovation Prize during the 26th triennial Borchardt Conference on May 23-24, 2023. The conference brings together engineers, scientists, public health specialists and students every three years to review advances in wastewater technology. Dr. Knappe will present his lecture on “PFAS, 1,4-Dioxane, and Other Unregulated Contaminants in the Cape Fear River Watershed of North Carolina: Community Impacts and Interventions to Reduce Human Exposure” during the event as well.
