The American Water Works Association (AWWA) has presented Theme 1 Researcher Detlef Knappe the A.P. Black Research Award. Dr. Knappe will formally accept the honor during the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Annual Conference and Exposition this June. Since its establishment in 1967, the AWWA A.P. Black Research Award has served to recognize outstanding research contributions to water science and water supply over time.
