Oral Presentations

The Sustainable Phosphorus Summit is part of the Phosphorus Week event that runs from November 1-4 in Raleigh, North Carolina. See the Sustainable Phosphorus Summit agenda.

We thank all the oral presenters who will share their insights during the event. Here are some instructions that would help you prepare your presentation:

  • Presentations should be completed within 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for audience questions and answers and transition between presentations.
  • If you use slides, you may use your own slide template, but please ensure that you design your slides using a 16:9 aspect ratio so they display properly on the event screen. If you are unfamiliar with aspect ratios, click here for an example of how to adjust your PowerPoint slides in Windows.
We discourage use of video or audio clips in your presentations, as they can cause technical issues. However, you may use them if you so choose.
  • Please upload your final presentations to our dropbox site the was sent to you by email by midnight EST, Oct 24 If you don’t already have a dropbox account, please let us know and we will send you a link in mid-October that will allow you add files to this folder without adding it to an existing account. Submitting talks early gives us time to review the slides and guard against formatting/spelling errors, etc. For security reasons, we will not accept thumb drives at the event, so please upload your presentations in advance.

Please contact steps-contact@ncsu.edu with any questions or concerns.
