Faten Hussein

Faten B. Hussein is a PhD candidate in the Civil & Environmental Engineering program at Marquette University. Her doctoral research aims on utilizing phosphate-binding protein for phosphorus removal and recovery from water. Faten received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Jordan and her Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her Master’s research focused on synthesizing polyurethane-iron oxide nanocomposit for arsenic removal from drinking water.
