Akash Balakrishnan
Akash Balakrishnan is a graduate student in the Civil, Environmental and Sustainable Engineering program at Arizona State University. Akash is currently working on a project studying automated sorption experiments of phosphate using metal oxides with Dr. Paul Westerhoff. He received an award from Bangalore University in Bangalore, India under the Water Institute Scientific Excellence Program for his work on oil adsorption using a novel, eco-friendly natural fibre-based sorbent mat.
